Excellence, Professionalism and Ethics in the Wetland Community of Practice of South Africa
Please find below the year planner for our Webinar and Roundtable Series for 2024 being hosted on the Zoom online platform.
We aim to improve knowledge and enhance accessibility to contemporary topics, ongoing issues, recent research findings, and updates on wetland tools and guidelines for the wetland community through two distinct webinar formats. In our Webinar Series, local and international experts deliver concise presentations on key wetland-related topics. In our “virtual” Roundtable Discussions, we convene panels comprising scientists, researchers, practitioners, and governmental officials, primarily from South Africa and abroad, to deliberate contentious topics. These platforms allow us to explore key issues in depth, and we encourage audience participation through the Q&A sessions. We encourage you to make suggestions on the themes you would like to see presented in the series. You may do so by making contact with the Society on our Contact Us page.
