As a member of the Society, you become part of an inspiring, passionate and supportive wetland community of practice in South Africa.

Please note that membership fees are allocated per year for the full year of 1 March to 28 February. The Society does not offer pro rata membership.

Secure payment is made online via Credit Card or bank EFT.

Organisation Payments

If you are wanting to have your orgaisation pay for your annual membership, please complete the process by clicking on one of the membership options below.

This will create your Glue-Up account with your required banking details etc. At the point of payment, you will select Bank Transfer. You will then be sent an invoice by email which you can submit to your organisation for payment.

Once payment has been done by your organisation, please send Proof of Payment (PoP) to operations@sawetlandsociety.org for your membership to be activated.

The Society

Was established at the Water Research Commission (WRC), Pretoria, South Africa on the 25th of May 2012.

Is a registered Non-Profit Organsation as of 26 September 2023 (297-447 NPO).

Is a Voluntary Association (VA) in terms of the NSP Act and is registered with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP).
